"Born in Toronto to Guyanese parents, Simone Denny grew up immersed in music. Though music wasn’t her first passion, a Grade 6 talent show changed everything, launching her journey into formal opera training, R&B and dance, all which eventually led to her first Juno nod in the ’90s.
As the lead vocalist for Toronto Eurodance group Love Inc., Denny delivered major hits including the Juno-winning single Broken Bones, and the platinum hit You’re a Superstar. Denny remains a beloved icon for her contributions to Canadian dance music in the ‘90s and beyond."
